Welcome to Olive Hill Sabina: our organic farm, located on the edge of the village of Tarano, in the centre of Italy.
Since 2018 we have been slowly restoring an abandoned farm in this glorious countryside. We named our farm Olive Hill Sabina because most of our land is an olive grove, on a south facing hill, in the undiscovered part of Italy known as the Sabina.
On these pages you can find more information on our delicious organic, extra virgin olive oil, and how to buy it. You can also find out about our special events (with our partner Grano&Farina), farm tours (with olive oil tasting), our Adopt an Olive Tree Scheme, olive oil discovery days, and range of fun and interesting courses.
Perhaps you’d like to participate in the annual olive harvest, visit the olive mill, and take home some of the “green gold” that you helped to make? Visit us in October, and we promise you a day to remember.
For those brave enough to venture off the well beaten paths between Rome and Florence, an oasis of calm, beauty and tranquility awaits. Hilltop towns, olive groves, vineyards, monasteries, churches, 2,000 plus years of history await you.
And I haven’t even mentioned the gastronomy yet!
Welcome to Sabina.
